Santa's Arrival Fairfield 2014

Santa’s Arrival - November 29^th  
 
            Mouthwatering hot chocolate, wreaths, holiday cards and ornaments … plus so much more will be available at the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce’s annual “Santa’s Arrival.”
 
            Community non-profit organizations will line up on the Sherman Green in Fairfield to sell an assortment of holiday items on Saturday, November 29th.  Santa Claus, played by Joe Skarupa, a perennial Santa-About-Town, will arrive by hook-and-ladder down Reef Road at 10 AM.  He will sit in the gazebo until approximately 2:00PM to listen to the wide-eyed wishes of children.  Each child will then receive a small, holiday gift item sponsored by Bankwell.


            There will be a children’s petting zoo from 10 AM to 1 PM weather permitting, as well as horse and buggy rides from approximately 10:00 to 2:00 PM.  The Kiwanis Club will provide breakfast sandwiches, hot dogs and hamburgers.
