by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce to attend the 7th in the 2016-2017 Health & Wellness lecture series at Norma Pfriem Breast Center. The lecture will be given on April 5, 2017 by David Mulligan, M.D, FACS. Dr. Mulligan will present and hold a discussion on this very important topic:
Saving Lives Through Organ Donation
You will learn about:
- The process of organ donation and transplantation
- Organ procurement and distribution
- How to qualify
Dr. Mulligan, Director of Yale-New Haven Transplantation, is an acclaimed organ transplant surgeon as well as a passionate leader in organ donation. He has been a principle investigator in multiple trials for living donor transplantations. At Yale, Dr. Mulligan oversees a multidisciplinary team of physicians and caregivers who provide comprehensive care for adult and pediatric patients awaiting organ transplantation.
