About Us

The Fairfield Nature Center is a year-round hub of environmental education activities and programs for all ages complete with live animal exhibits, classrooms and a Nature Store. Steps outside, the newly renovated Birds of Prey Compound, a pollinator garden and Frog Pond sites offer unique ways to view and learn about animals and wildlife habitats up close. The adjoining 155-acre Larsen Wildlife Sanctuary, with 7 miles of trails, is a year-round outdoor classroom and peaceful retreat. It includes a one-mile accessible trail that accommodates wheelchairs and strollers.
