Santa's Visits Fairfield

Event Description
Santa arrives by hook and ladder to Sherman Green on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The event is heavily promoted through 5,200 backpack flyers in 11 Fairfield elementary schools, and is attended by approximately 600 children plus parents. Every child receives a plush animal, compliments of the chamber. Approximately 25-30 non-profit community organizations are invited to participate free of charge.
In addition to Santa, there are horse and buggy rides and a petting zoo. The Kiwanis Club hosts a cook-out.
